I don’t know about you guys, but the thought that some foods can help me burn fat, sounds quite exciting. So, how does it happen? Well, as you all know, some foods have higher protein content, better nutritious value, or require an increased amount of energy to process.

While no one food is going to instantly remove all of that extra adipose tissue, it doesn’t hurt to add in a few of these foods to help try to burn that fat off in a jiffy.

So, here is a short list of 20 foods that help to burn fat cells:

Be it because of their fiber content, or their amazing nutrient base, these foods have been shown to be active against the battle with that extra adipose tissue. The fiber and protein content in many of the above foods, are also great at keeping you feeling fuller longer, therefore curbing your appetite for unhealthy snacking, or unnecessary eating.     1. I agree. I lost quite a bit of fat initially by eating oatmeal each morning with ground flaxseed! Love oatmeal. I currently have upped my water intake this week due to feeling extra bloated and such. I have already shed a couple of pounds just by doing that!

    1. Look at Popeye being such a great role model 😉! I know many are hesitant on the whole egg situation vs egg whites only, but I definitely believe that there is great benefit to the yolk as well.

  1. I’m preparing for men’s physique which is going to happen in next month, so i’m in cutting phase, i’m using almost food from your list, good list for people who really wants loose some fat.

  3. I love avocado, I could easily eat it every day if it didn’t have so many calories. I am actually on a path of getting healthier and at the moment I only eat vegetables and free range meat. It’s astonishing how since I’ve started it and since I’ve given up sugar, my body has stopped hurting!

    1. Excessive intake of sugar does so much damage to our bodies. It isn’t until we give up these unhealthy foods that we truly realize the effect it has on us. Good for you for focusing on your health!

  4. I don’t really think only burning fat is the right solution. I suggest the more efficient way of using up fat.

    Burning may also burn the good fat which is more inevitably important.

    Just a suggestion!

    1. I appreciate your comment here. Yes, it is important to try to utilize the ‘fat’ in any good way if possible. I suggest exercise along with these tasty treats to come at the excess storage from both angles. 🙂
